F-104G JA+112 JG 71 construction number 683D-8025, model 683-10-19, built by Fokker manufactured by North Group (ARGE-Nord); assembled with Lockheed produced parts at Fokker, Schiphol coded KG+125 first flight September 19, 1962 in Silver finish colors AWX (All Weather Fighter) version under project "Green Hill" (for JG 71); acceptance date by BABwFokker (RNAF-MTA) on March 22, 1963 leased to Royal Netherlands Air Force (KLU) from April 18, 1963 until July 24, 1963; operated by OCU at Twenthe AB coded KG-125 JA+112 JG 71 delivery date on July 24, 1963; camouflage scheme "Norm 62" according tech order TA-196 in 1965 emergency landing on March 16, 1967. This Starfighter flew together with JA+101 when both aircraft nose-radomes were destroyed due to lightning-strikes. Also most of the main instruments of both aircraft were damaged. A TF-104G of JaboG 32 coded DB+372 helped both pilots home and both Starfighter landed safely at Wittmundhafen AB. Pilot of this plane was Hptm Rühmann. 23+46 IRAN SABCA on May 16, 1969 with 571 flight hours; back to JG 71 on June 4, 1970 withdrawn from use at LVR 1 (Luftwaffenversorgungsregiment 1) on August 31, 1973 with 1.121 flight hours struck off charge order August 31, 1973; used for spare parts, dump at Erding AB May 18, 1974 1974 scrapped at Memmingen copyright © Matthes collection
