crashed June 17, 1965 on landing at George AFB, Maj W. Ward was on a precautionary landing when the aircraft flamed out
due to fuel starvation; aircraft touched down 900 feet short of the runway,
the MN-1A weapon dispenser ripped off and the aircraft went through 7 rows of approach lights at the end, the pilot was injured
October 1965 to Sacramento Air Logistics Area, McClellan AFB CA and dropped from inventory due to flying accident (DBR)
written off (repair was planned but not feasible anymore), scrapped.
