F-104G "4356" 28 TFS ROCAF at CCK AB (Ching Chuan Kang) taking off with a Dart target F-104G, construction number 683D-6139, serial number 64-17794, model 683-10-19, built by Canadairfirst flight February 5, 1966; to USAF March 26, 1966 coded FG-794/47794; MAP (Military Assistance Program) to Taiwan 1966 coded "4356" to 3 Wing crashed with 28th Squadron on March 30, 1982, pilot Li Yuan Fu ejected safely, and landed at a farm near the crash site, Lockheed C-2 ejection seat, written off. Just after takeoff from CCK Air Base in Northern direction, the engine flamed out at the moment the pilot was throttling back full afterburner to military power. Due to the low altitude the pilot, Li Yuan-Fu, immediately ejected and landed on a farm, but gladly was safe.
