F-104G "633" RNoAF in wing approach formation at RAFG Bruggen in August 1980

RF-104G, construction number 683C-4033, model 683-04-10, US serial number 61-2633, built by Lockheed
MAP to Norway coded "FN-U" August 7, 1963, with 11 flight hours to 331 squadron
modified into F-104G standards at Avio Diepen, Netherlands in 1963
coded "633" from September 1, 1972; all aircraft were delivered in Fighter version with M61 Vulcan cannon, and no camera at all
operated by 331 squadron at Bodo AB; 633 returned to USAF on June 30, 1981 with 3.373 flight hours
after phase out in Norway (total flying hours 3373,7) the aircraft was transferred to Turkey under MAP regulations (via the USAF)
It was flown over just as other Norwegian MAP aircraft to Sculthorpe, UK where it arrived June 26, 1981.
At Sculthorpe the aircraft received Turkish markings and was flown over to Turkey on July 8, 1981 with a nightstop at Grosseto AB,
arriving at Murted Air Base July 9, 1981; to Turkish AF on July 8, 1981 as "4-633"; later coded "9-633"
after its operational career with the Turkish Air Force it became an instructional airframe (GIA) inside the Technical School at Gaziemir.
Its code was changed from "9-633" to "E-633" (E=Education). It was first noted in July 1990 and has been phased out in between.
Nowadays it can be found preserved outside at the school premises, first noted in April 1999; coded "2-633" preserved Izmir AB; September 2006 noted; November 2023 noted.
