TF-104G "N104L" used by Jacqueline Cochran to set two women's world speed records in April-May 1963

TF-104G, construction number 583D-5702, model 583-10-20, built by Lockheed
 which was retained by Lockheed as a demonstrator. It carried the civil registration number: N104L/N90500 and was nicknamed "Free World Defender"

The well known aviatrix Jacqueline Cochran set two women's world's speed records.

April 12, 1963 she averaged 1.273,10 mph (2,048.88 km/h) over a 15-25 km straight line course, she reached Mach 1.94 and beat her own record for the distance. FAI (Fédération Aéronautique Internationale) Record File Number #13042 May 1, 1963 she flew at an average speed of 1.203,94 mph (1.937,15 km/h) over a 100 km "Closed Circuit course", taking the women's record away from the French aviatrix Jacqueline Auriol. 5702 was delivered to the Koninklijke Luchtmacht (KLu) with the Dutch serial number D-5702 Later delivered to Turkey on August 25, 1980 with serial number 5702; it flew with 142 Filo of 4 AJU with code "4-702"; June 1,1984 serving 192 Filo of 9.AJU at Balikesir with code "9-702"; to 193 Filo in December 1987 withdrawn from use and stored at Eskisehir AB (storage area) in October 1988; CFE cut-up later; scrapped. copyright © Lockheed/ Grondstein collection
