F-104G "D-8245" 312 sqn RNLAF landing at Volkel AB in April 1984 F-104G, construction number 683D-8245, model 683-10-19, built by FokkerFokker factory construction number 10695; D-8245 taken on charge June 12, 1964 with 311 and later with 312 squadron and after that in service to 311/312 squadrons pool together and all the time at Volkel AB; used by the TTS at Leeuwarden AB 1982-1984 stored at Ypenburg AFB for some time, withdrawn from use July 10, 1984 and given to the KMA Koninklijke Milititaire Academie at Breda on July 11, 1984 as a gate guard in October 1993 the F-104G was handed over to the Military Air Force Museum at Kamp van Zeist, 13 km E of Utrecht On pole at Militair Luchtvaart Museum (MLM) at Kamp van Zeist near Soesterberg January 8, 1999, on A-28 motorway it became a direction-post to the museum in 2000; restoration September 28, 2006 at Soesterberg, October 19, 2006 replaced at her position, 312 sqn badge; November 2013 noted storage area of the new NMM (Nationaal Militair Museum) at the old Soesterberg AB; October 2015 on trailer noted; stored April 2016 noted D-8245 preserved with 312 sqn markings on a pole at the entrance lane to the new military museum at Soesterberg since May 2019 placed on display on an abandoned taxi track at the closed Soesterberg Air Base, on the west side of road N413, about 200m from the entrance road to the museum June 2023 noted.
