F-104J "707" (76-8707) 207th Hikotai of 83 AG (Wing) from Naha AB 1978 F-104J, construction number 683B-3207, model 583-07-14, serial number 76-8707, built by Mitsubishidelivery date October 25, 1967; in 1972 207 Hikotai Naha AB; with APW in the 90s modified to UF-104JA target drone in 1992 target drone as 76-3707 shot down near Iwo Jima island shot down March 24, 1996. The 207 Squadron was formed on March 31, 19R66 at Hyakuri within 7th Air Wing with F-104J as fighter interceptor squadron. The 207 was transferred from Hyakuri (7th Air Wing) to Naha, Okinawa (83rd Air Group) on November 7, 1972.
