F-104J "612" JASDF "204 SQ 20th ANNIVERSARY" 204th Hikotai of 5th Kokudan, Tsuiki Air Base October 1984 F-104J, construction number 683B-3112, model 683-07-14, JASDF serial number 46-8612, built by Mitsubishifirst unit 5th Koukuudan at Nyuutabaru AB, to 207 Hikoutai of 7 Koukuudan at Hyakuri AB, seen November 1976 207 Hikoutai moved to Naha AB and became Rinji 83 Koukuutai. [Rinji means "provisional" or "temporary"] until 1984 assigned 204 Hikoutai, "20 Years 204th Hikotai" of 5 Kokudan at Hyakuri AB paint scheme; 1985 withdrawn from use and stored at 2nd Supply Depot at Gifu AB.
delivered by sea container and arrived at 1st Depot at Pingtung South AB for reassembly April 1986; MAP to ROCAF coded as "4501" under Project "Ali Shan No 9" to 7 Squadron of 427 Wing delivery date 1987 in 1989 to 28 Squadron of 427 Wing; withdrawn from use and stored at CCK AB in 1992; scrapped in 1999. copyright © Fred Schneider
