F-104G "FX99" 10 Wing special marking "Bye 104" September 1983 F-104G, construction number 683D-9172, model 683-10-19, built by SABCAtake on charge at Gosselies April 2, 1965 to 10 Wing; in 1972 used by the "Slivers" demonstration team; withdrawn from use September 26, 1983 on September 26, 1983 the aircraft FX99 flew from Kleine-Brogel AB to Koksijde AB for storage (its final flight) had special marking "Bye 104" (10 Wing 31 Squadron); struck off charge January 1987 and stripped of all useful parts sold to Radcomm Enterprise January 1987; November 1990 departed Koksijde to USA; sold to Steve Alex, Maine, USA in 1990; June 1991 first noted at Bangor, USA under restoration with Steve Alex, June 1992 preserved Bangor (USA); to Vintage Aircraft Company at Markham Museum, Markham Airport, Ontario, Canada 1995 "Canadian Air Land Sea Museum" (CALSM), Markham, Ontario, Canada September 23, 2005 noted; April 2010 noted at Markham, Ontario; stored on this Airplane Graveyard May 2019 noted 20.09.2021 at Markham Airport dismantled and transported to Houthalen-Helchteren, Belgium where it arrived 22.10.2021 owned by Luc Degens and stored for restoration in Bilzen, Belgium, since August 26, 2022; uncovering of FX99 by owner Luc Degens September 22, 2023.
