F-104G "FX41" 31 squadron of 10 Wing BAF during Tiger Meet 66 at RAF Leuchars in 1966 F-104G, construction number 683D-9084, model 683-10-19, built by SABCA manufactured by West Group (ARGE-West); assembly at SABCA-Gosselies, Belgiumdelivery date March 20.1964 to 350 squadron; 1st F-104G for 10 Wing 31 squadron on April 6.1964 by Major August 'Gus' Ronge, and blessed during a church ceremony held at the day of arrival, withdrawn from use May 10.1983 (31 Squadron / 10 Wing) struck of charge and sold to Radcomm 1987; 1991 to Kleine-Brogel for ABDR and spares to restore FX94 and FX100 stored in a very bad condition 2005 noted; March 2012 last noted Kleine-Brogel (dump) FX41 is now being stripped at Kleine Brogel to be used for spare parts for FX61 front section will be cut to serve as a simulator cockpit for the Tiger Museum in Kleine-Brogel the wings have been removed and mounted on the FX61 also at Kleine-Brogel and the wheel doors will go to this F-104G as well. The aft hatch has become a "table". Most of the rest of the aircraft was sold to a scrapping company in May 2013 June 2015 cockpit section preserved. Aircrafts parts of FX41 were used to complete the hybrid FX02 fuselage/FX47 tail on display in front of block 15 at Kleine-Brogel. copyright © Johan Bringmans
