the first 2 TF-104G were shipped directly from the US in "kits" and the delivery to Beauvechain Air Base was done by the Flying Tiger Line Company.
It was in January 1965 that the first Canadair CL-44 landed at Beauvechain with the FC01 and FC02 on board
taken on service February 23, 1965 coded "FG-105"; to "Flight-TF-104G" (Conversion & Air Defence training) of 1 Wing at Beauvechain AB on March 8, 1965
recoded FC02; last operated 1983 at 10 Wing; stored at Koksijde February 14, 1983; withdrawn from use in January 1987
October 15, 1990 via USA delivered to Taiwan for spare parts use only; finally scrapped.
