863 had a Cat B incident October 21, 1969 at Lahr. It was a towing incident, it went off the taxiway and fell into a ditch which broke its back and declared a write-off
it was uneconomical to repair and never flew again. '863 was formally assigned to 1 AMS, as were most of 1 Air Division (AD) Starfighter
it was scrapped (and likely cannibalized to some extent first) in 1974.
