CF-104 "843" "1 Canadian Air Group" at TAM (Tactical Air Meet) Ramstein AB June 1980 CF-104, Canadair model CL-90, Lockheed model 683-04-12, Canadair construction number 683A-1143, RCAF serial number 12843, built by Canadairfirst flight on October 2, 1962 and was received on July 4, 1963; July 4, 1963 to 2 Wing of 1 Air Division (1 AD) in Europe August 13, 1963 to 3 Wing; January 24, 1969 to 4 Wing; July 6,1973 to SAL for DLIR (Depot Level Inspection and Repair); returned to Baden July 24, 1975 to SAL for cannon installation (Scottish Aviation Limited, at Prestwick (maintenance facility for CAF in Europe)) December 6, 1978 to NWI (North West Industries, Edmonton, CA) for DLlR, returned to Baden December 22, 1985 it became training aid (ABRD) with maintenance number 851C; was struck of service in March 1990 and scrapped soon after at Baden-Sollingen. 104843 participated in the 1980 Tactical Air Meet at Ramstein AB. It wore a large "B" on the tail and a red maple leaf on the tip tanks with a stylized blue "1 Canadian Air Group" superimposed on it. Each "i" was dotted with a small red maple leaf.
