702 served its entire career with CEPE and later AETE, the test unit
it was the spare plane for 12700, which set the Canadian altitude record of 100.110 feet on December 14, 1967
reserialed as 104702 effective June 1970; damaged during landing gear and arrestor hook trials (date unknown)
struck off service July 25, 1983; to CFB Cold Lake for preservation in town 1983
on pedestal in Joe Hoffner Memorial Park at Grand Centre, Cold Lake, Alberta on November 25, 1983 in bare metal with AETE marks; May 2006 noted; January 2024 noted.
