CF-104D "646" of the Aerospace Engineering & Test Establishment (AETE) chasing CF-104 "705" in September 1974 CF-104D, Lockheed model 583-04-15, Lockheed construction number 583A-5316, RCAF serial number 12646, Mk.1 (Dual Training Aircraft), built by Lockheedtaken on service as Mk.1 (Dual Training Aircraft) on March 18, 1963; first unit 6 ST/R OTU, later 417 squadron at Cold Lake with the Aerospace Engineering & Test Establishment (AETE) in 1983; ferried to Trenton for storage October 17, 1983 converted instructional airframe as BDRT (GIA) July 5, 1985 coded "844C" in camouflage scheme; withdrawn from use in April 1995 preserved at RCAF National Air Force Museum of Canada, CFB Trenton, Ontario 1990; 2002 noted; preserved with AETE "X" markings October 14, 2005 noted; September 2018 noted; April 2024 noted.
