CF-104D "641" of 417 ST/R (OT) from Cold Lake CF-104D, Lockheed model 583-04-15, Lockheed construction number 583A-5311, RCAF serial number 12641, Mk.1 (Dual Training Aircraft), built by Lockheedreceived on May 17, 1962 as Mk.1 (Dual Training Aircraft), it first went to 6 ST/R OTU at RCAF Station Cold Lake and it probably spent its entire career there, although the base became CFB Cold Lake and the unit was redesignated as 417 ST/R (OTU) Squadron reserialed as 104641 effective June 1970; became training aid 876B (date unknown); then training aid 876C on August 14, 1987; sometime in 1987 it became ABDR training aid 210AC it was loaned to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum at Hamilton IAP, Mount Hope, Ontario on April 28, 1995 it's been officially struck off service since then; "12641" Mk.1 on pole at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum at Hamilton IAP, Mount Hope, Ontario 1995 acquired from the Department of National Defence; July 1, 2003 noted, December 2010 wearing "12641" noted; it was taken down in October 2016 for refurbishment it is expected back on its pole; off display for maintenance in October 2018; back after extensive restoration November 2019; April 2023 noted.
