June 11, 1979 "Vikings" First demonstration at RAF Greenham Common
At the British airfield Greenham Common, the 'VIKINGS' are presenting their program to the public for the first time as part of the 'International Air Tattoo'.
Pilots: Korvettenkapitän Ingomar Suhr (lead), Kapitänleutnant Manfred Schulze (number two) and Korvettenkapitän Lothar Martin (spare pilot).

August 14, 1983 25 years of naval aviation "Open house"
The first public appearance of the MFG2 demonstration team in the Federal Republic of Germany takes place on the day of the 'Open House'.
The "VIKINGS" are flown by KK Suhr ("Lead") and KL Schulze ("Two").

June 15/16, 1986 'VIKINGS' at Swiss flight day at Sion Air Base
As early as 19685, the MFG 2 demonstration team, the 'VIKINGS' visited a neutral country with Ireland.
This year the invitation was accepted to Switzerland.
The naval pilots presented their program in front of 120,000 spectators and with enthusiastic reactions in the media.
