CF-104 "756" CAF 439 squadron "Tiger Meet" color scheme at Upper Heyford 1976 CF-104, serial number 12756 Canadair Model CL-90, Lockheed Model 683-04-12, Canadair construction number 683A-1056, built by Canadair first flight March 10, 1962 and received by the RCAF on May 5, 1962. It was assigned first to 6 ST/R OTU at RCAF Station Cold Lake, although in 1969 it went to 1 Air Division in Europe; reserialed as 104759 effective June 1970 it was 439 Squadron's specially painted aircraft for the 1976 "Tiger Meet" that the squadron hosted at CFB Baden-Sollingen in 1976 it was struck off service on March 21, 1986 and was given to TurkeyIt was taken on service by the Turkish AF (THK) as "62-756" on April 9, 1986 and served as "8-756" with 8.AJU until April 1994 preserved at Cayagzi (Riva); 27 km N of Istanbul in June 2011 noted; May 2022 noted; removed in 2023.
