first flight 3 March 1962; taken on service by the RCAF as CF-104 sn 12751 May 26, 1962; first unit 6 ST/R OTU
returned to Canadair in late 63-early 64 and modified and delivered to 1 Air Division; reported operational with 422 squadron of 4 Wing in 1969
reserialed as 104751 effective June 1970; first seen as 104751 at CFB Sollingen with 4 Wing on July 9, 1972
seen with 439 sqn in 1977 and also during a visit at Volkel from 8. till 9. October 1981; struck of service March 6, 1986 for Turkey
taken on service by Turkey as CF-104 serial number 62-751 on March 13, 1986; in Turkey it only flew with 8.AJU and was seen operational often
damaged (midair collision with 62-735, both with 182 Filo, 8nci Ana Jet Üs) 16 April 1993, but it could land safely, but was declared written off officially later that month
struck of service date unknown; it was put in storage at Diyarbakir until around 1995 or 1996, when it was transported to Eskisehir for storage (first noted February 1996)
in May 1998 it was first noted as being preserved at Eskisehir AB coded "8-751", and in August 1999 again
preserved near the entrance of the Eskisehir Aerospace factory at Eskisehir AB in 2000 noted; May 2024 noted.
