crashed April 30, 1982 with 417 OTS, Cold Lake after loss of control during Air Combat Training ACT (flat spin)
during a Fighter Weapons Instructors' Course (FWIC), pilot Capt Dave Ghyselincks ejected safely, Lockheed C-2 seat, written off
struck of service December 15, 1982.

I was in Alberta with 417 Squadron for a Fighter Weapons Instructors' Course (FWIC), but otherwise really belonged to
441 Squadron in Baden-Söllingen at the time of the ejection. The airplane was in a Flat Spin with an aft center of gravity
and would not recover. My knees were injured during the ejection, but I was otherwise OK and flying again four days later
