CF-104 "792" of 1 Canadian Air Group (1 CAG) at Royal Flush 70 at Deelen AB, NL CF-104, Canadair model CL-90, Lockheed model 683-04-12, Canadair construction number 683A-1092, RCAF serial number 12792, built by Canadairfirst flight May 10, 1962; delivery date October 14, 1962 after 17 flights with 24 flight hours; first CF-104 to Europe with 3 Wing, Marville on October 14, 1962; 1969 with 1 Wing, Lahr reserialed as 104792 effective June 1970; May 6, 1974 to AETE at Cold Lake; 1975 to 417 OTU; had the formation lighting strips tests in 1978 it was also the only overall green Starfighter used first by the AETE (Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment) and then 417 Squadron and it was the trials aircraft for the "electro-luminescent strip lighting"; withdrawn from use 1982 with 4.439 flying hours; struck of charge January 16, 1990; storage CFB Mountainview instructional BDRT airframe coded "A794" at CFB Borden with Canadian Forces School of Aerospace & Ordnance Engineering 1983 preserved on pole at Canadian Forces Base Borden, Ontario in May 1990; September 4, 2004 noted; has been refurbished and put back on the pole again July 2008 serials look a bit different now than before; August 4, 2011 noted; May 2018 noted; July 2023 noted.
