The last inspection of the 69th TFTS March 16, 1983

General Obleser (GAF) and General Creech (USAF) inspect the last formation with Oberstleutnant Heinrich Thüringer and LtCol Robert Patterson.

Both the 2nd German Training Squadron and the USAF 69th Tactical Fighter Training Squadron were deactivated.
