F-104F '104' ex 29+17 on pole at the Canadian Military Members Memorial in Innisfail, Alberta construction number 5070, US serial number 59-5017, built by Lockheed first flight 1960 with US serial number 59-5017, BB+383 shipped to Bremerhaven, Germany by train to MTT-Nörvenich arriving on October 13, 1960, MTT test flight on November 8, 1960 WaSLw 10 (OTU Operational Training Unit) on December 1, 1960 at Nörvenich AB 29+17 had an accident in 1970, repaired by MBB but repair was not completed withdrawn from use in 1971 according government orders dated April 16, 1971 struck off charge order June 29, 1971, put in storage at Jever AB in 1971 transferred to ErpSt 61 at Manching on June 14, 1971 without the engine instructional airframe at ErpSt 61 coded '21+21' in silver finish (noted 1985) ABDR airframe at Nörvenich AB in October 1988 where the fake '21+21' was removed and replaced by a far too small '29+17' again, dump Nörvenich AB 1999 for sale via VEBEG in March 2004, sold to Piet Smedts in May 2004 storage area of Piet Smedts at Kessel, district Limburg in June 2004 noted painted as Canadian Air Force "104" preserved on a pole at the Canadian Military Members Memorial in Innisfail, Alberta, Canada 2007 first noted; July 21, 2010 last noted
