Koninklijke Luchtmacht 104 at Vliegbasis Soesterberg on July 5,1958

The Chief of the Air Staff also Commander of the Air Forces, Lieutenant General Aviator H. Schaper, receives from the hands of an American Air Force officer a commemorative plaque on the occasion
of the 45th anniversary of the Royal Air Force. The pilots are from 83rd Fighter-Interceptor Squadron (83rd FIS).
On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the KLu, two Starfighters F-104B were present at Soesterberg Air Base in use by the Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) and flown by both pilots of 83rd FIS.
