On February 27, 1986 the last Starfighter Mass Formation was flown over Decimomannu AB
16 F-104G of Jagdbombergeschwader 34, Memmingen, German Air Force
6 Starfighter of Marinegeschwader 2, Eggebek, German Navy
and 9 Starfighter of the Aeronautica Militare Italiana (Italian Air Force).
