crashed on February 18, 1985 at Hesselteich near Versmold (12 NM North of RAF Gutersloh) after a midair collision
with a RAFG Harrier T.4 trainer XW933. The Harrier crashed immediately and the F-104 pilot tried to reach an emergency landing field,
but the aircraft caught on fire and had to be abandoned; pilot ejected safely; written off, struck off charge order (AVA) August 2, 1985.
