24+71 was heavy damaged on November 19, 1971 at Neuburg AB during maintenance work in the Alert area and
caught fire; while checking the voltage for the pylon fuel tanks of the Alert aircraft one tank was jettisoned and
caught on fire and set the aircraft on fire as well; aircraft was damaged beyond economical repair
struck off charge order November 6,1972, 1972 to LVR 1 and scrapped
