”915” 56-0843, destroyed at Ramtha, on a highway roundabout; 32°32'6.42"N 36°0'12.29"E
November 21, 2011 the preserved F-104A on the entrance of the city of Ramtha has been destroyed and burned by rioters!
The riots are a result of a death of a 19 year old inmate who committed suicide and the people of Ramtha are blaming police brutality for his death!
Looking at the damage on the aircraft it most likely will be taken away and scrapped.

note: It appears that 56-779 received the tail section of 56-780 sometime while in USAF service. The visible sign of identifying an aircraft is by the serial number on the tail so after this happened, our aircraft #779 effectively became #780.

note:January 29, 2017 F-104A 913/K which was preserved on a pole at Safawi town was damaged. The storm threw the aircraft from its pole and it smashed on the ground up side down breaking its main fuselage severely.

note: F-104A (c/n 1???) 9??, Royal Jordan Air Force, coded “912” at the university campus of Amman-Jubajha. First seen in 2008. Identity still unknown. 2015 named "Muath Kasasbeh memorial"; Muath Safi Yousef al-Kasasbeh was a Royal Jordanian Air Force pilot who was captured and burned to death by the militant terrorist group "Islamic State" (IS) after his F-16 fighter aircraft crashed over Syria.
